Snoop Dogg Banned From Another Country – Norway

Officials in Norway have announced a ban on rapper Snoop Dogg for the next two years.

The ban comes on the heels of the rapper’s arrest in June of 2012, as he attempted to enter the country with marijuana.

Authorities found eight grams of marijuana on Snoop, who was arrested at the airport and fined over the incident.

As a result, officials have barred him from entering Norway for the next two years.

This is not the first country that Snoop Dogg has been hard for him.

In 2006, Snoop Dogg and his entourage were involved in a massive brawl airport officials in Heathrow Airport in London.

Snoop eventually won that case, after surveillance footage was produced that proved police were the aggressors, vindicating him in the incident.

In April of 2007 Australian officials banned Snoop from the country due to his criminal record, although they eventually reversed the decision and Issued Snoop a work visa

Rapper 50 Cent Talks Plans For TMT Promotions With Floyd Mayweather

50 Cent recently signed boxer Billy Dib of Australia to TMT Promotions (The Money Team), a new company the rap star is running with world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather.

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather’s TMT Promotions have already received its promoter’s license in New York and has another application pending in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Mayweather is finishing an 87-day prison sentence for spousal battery.

In addition to Billy Dib, TMT Promotions has already snagged featherweight boxer Yuriorkis Gamboa and super middleweight boxer Andre Dirrell.

According to 50, it was Floyd’s idea to start TMT Promotions as an alternative to the current promotional deals that are being offered to boxers today.
“I mean, outside of the fact that it was Floyd’s concept, and that it was his idea initially that he wanted to develop a company for himself and for other talent that can execute things without having to be within a traditional situation where you have to completely watch your back, 24/7,” 50 Cent told RingTV.com. “From a fighter’s perspective, you know, it’s going to be exciting to be a part of our company and something like that. When you achieve a certain level of success with your career, you start to do some soul-searching and you start to figure out what you’re actually after.”

50 told RingTV.com that Floyd can spot talent in upcoming boxers, which was another reason that two famous friends decided to go into business together.

“Floyd has an eye. He has the knack,” 50 Cent said. “He can kind of point out talent and things and see things within himself that he sees in some other fighters. Floyd can pin-point something in a fighter and say, ’50, go after that,’ and he can say, ‘go and get him.’ So I went out there and I got him [Dib].

SONG WRITER:STAMINA&RICH MAVOKO
INTRO
Stamina;iz moro town baby,im back,u know wat kevy,this iz so matured meeeen
Vers 1{stamina}
Shida zinaomba urafiki,umasikini unaleta posa
Bongo mahakama za joti,me mpoki nabaki benchi
Hata nikimchukia baniani,kiatu chake kina mchango
Bora wewe jalala,me ukubwa shimo la choo
Ukichanganya na ufukara,ndio mechi isiyokua na droo
Choruss{rich mavoko}
Kama nakufuru,mungu naomba unisamehe
Nakosa uhuru,sikumbuki hata tarehe
Kweli najuta kuzijua hizi starehe eeeeeee eeeeeee eeeeeee eeeeeehh
Ehhhh me najuta kubalehe
Ehhhh sikumbuki hata tarehe
Eeee ujana maji ya moto,zinaniunguza hizi starehe
Vers 2{stamina}
Maisha ngumi ya bitozi,siogopi kutega sura
Pesa sitafuti kwa pozi,bado najinyima kula
Nishachoka kusadiki,tomaso tangu na tangu
Marafiki wanafiki,wanasnitch hadi kwa mke wangu
Majukumu ya familia,nimeyabeba bila ngata
Asili zimezidi mia,desturi zimenikamata
Haya maumivu ya mjeledi,kwenye ngozi ya mlemavu
Ukubwa mechi ya mabaamedi,me mlevi nafungwa kavu
Aaaah maisha jabali,ugomvi wa cheka na Tyson
Sikuhizi ukinunua hata kagari,kitaani unaitwa free mason
Maumivu ya sufuria,jikoni hayana ushuru
Pesa tajiri wa dunia,mwenye hisa yangu ya uhuru
Aiseh sayansi imenikera,ukuaji umenipa msoto
Utu uzima bila hela,utamwamkia hadi mtoto
Napopata mkwanja,na shida zinagonga hodi
Vipi nitanunua kiwanja,huku bado nadaiwa kodi
Choruss{rich mavoko}
Kama nakufuru,mungu naomba unisamehe
Nakosa uhuru,sikumbuki hata tarehe
Kweli najuta kuzijua hizi starehe eeeeeee eeeeeee eeeeeee eeeeeehh
Ehhhh me najuta kubalehe
Ehhhh sikumbuki hata tarehe
Eeee ujana maji ya moto,zinaniunguza hizi starehe
Vers 3{stamina}
Ukubwa msafara wa kenge,me mjusi vipi unichoshe
Penzi kitovu cha uzembe,nakaza nisiitwe ngoswe
Ugangstar bila hela,majibu yake ni uchafu
Maisha ya bongo msosi wa jela,so mfungwa usiulizie ndafu
Nilizoea kashata,bumunda na vibagia
Huku unga,bangi,na bapa,ndio vitu navyovisikia
Chuki na fitina,hadhina za wenye wivu
Wapo wanaonishirikina,ili moto nigeuke jivu
Udogoni nilidekezwa,wazazi walinipa malezi
Pesa imesomea udereva,inaendesha hadi mapenzi
Elimu ya njia za panya,inanikosesha michongo
Madeni yananiandama,kama serikali ya bongo
Maishani ukiwa govinda,wenzako watakuita yaya
Pesa mnyama anayewindwa,na jangiri aliyevuta kaya
Uwazi unanidondosha,bado narushiwa kombora
Condom ndio kinga tosha,sijikingi na bastora
Choruss{rich mavoko}
Kama nakufuru,mungu naomba unisamehe
Nakosa uhuru,sikumbuki hata tarehe
Kweli najuta kuzijua hizi starehe eeeeeee eeeeeee eeeeeee eeeeeehh

Swizz Beatz On MegaUpload And Album Delays

In an interview, Swizz Beatz discusses the MegaUpload legal battles, and opens up why he has delayed the release of his next album.

Swizz Beatz sat down for an interview with Allindstrom.com where the hit-maker producer was candid about why his album is delayed, and discussed his stance on the MegaUpload legal troubles.

The producer was entering into negotiations to take on an executive position when MegaUpload was shut down by the FBI. Swizz was never named on the legal documents and is now defending himself as an artist saying he would never wilfully steal from other rappers and musicians, “I’m a fan of music, I’m a fan of people who work hard and I would never be a part of anything that’s taking anything from an artist when I fight so hard to give so much to the artist”. He continues that he was giving back to the people making the music, “What I was doing I was giving the artist 90% of this shit”.

Swizz further defends the file sharing site by saying, “That company ain’t never been sued for any of those things. You can’t go and download...it’s called MegaUPLOAD”, he continued”, [T]here’s other companies doing ten times worse things than that...they ain’t getting touched”.

Finally, when speaking on the topic of MegaUpload he added, “[T]ime will tell everything...I’m not gonna sit here and answer all these questions, cause I can’t...my track record speaks for itself...I’m in the business of inspiring, and I can’t be in the business of inspiring if I’m so-called ‘robbing my friends’”.

When speaking about the release of his next album, which seems mired in delays, Swizz was very open and candid, and says that the album will be released when he’s comfortable with the business aspect. “The delay of my next album is...this musical business structure that’s in place...I don’t feel comfortable putting my stuff out...Until you feel comfortable you just gonna sit on that bitch”, the producer said.

Swizz added that with technology rapidly changing, it’s not as clear cut how to monetize a record, and he said “for the first time in technology history, motherfuckers are sharing...Until I find an outlet I’m comfortable with I’m cool to chill”.

EXCLUSIVE: Estate Of Notorious B.I.G. Denies Connection To Men Arrested In Book Theft

Representatives for the estate of the Notorious B.I.G. have denied reports that they are connected with a musical about the rapper’s life, after two men were arrested in connection with a bizarre theft from a bookstore on Tuesday (July 17).

Writers Alfred Green and Raheim Pope had claimed they were producing a musical titled “Ready 2 Die,” which would focus on Notorious B.I.G.

Green and Pope were arrested for stealing $888 books from a Barnes & Noble in Westport, Connecticut.

The two men initially denied the stolen booty found in a Jaguar with Georgia plates was theirs.

At the station, a tip from Green lead to a cavity search of Pope, who had hidden the key to the getaway Jaguar in his rectum.

“Please note that this is an unauthorized play. Our firm has previously sent a cease and desist notice and any association with the Estate of Christopher Wallace or Notorious B.I.G. are unauthorized,” a rep for Notorious B.I.G.’s estate told AllHipHop

Green and Pope issued a casting call for the unauthorized play back in March, but the estate warned B.I.G.’s fans that they are not supporting the musical.

“There is no connection or association between the Estate of Notorious B.I.G. and Alfred Green and Raheim Pope,” the rep told AllHipHop

A$AP Rocky Wants To "Change The Sound Of Mainstream"

A$AP Rocky talks about changing the mainstream sound, his diverse fan base, and a soon to be released A$AP Mob record.

In an interview with Billboard at the 2012 Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, A$AP Rocky discussed his diverse fan base. He’s already made a stir with collaborating with pop singer Lana Del Rey, and he says "I got supporters from all demographics.”

Rocky then talks about the eclectic group of fans you will see at one of his shows. He claims that his music is aiming to redefine mainstream rap, and speaks to people from all different backgrounds. “There are people that don't fuck with Rap but fuck with A$AP, just because I give them a feeling that they can't explain.” Rocky continued, “I'm used to this happening - even when it's not at one of these festivals, my crowd is real diverse. If you've ever been to one of my shows, you'd be like, 'What the fuck did I just step into?”

Talking about changing the mainstream sound he said, “we change the sound of mainstream. The mainstream isn't gonna be that bullshit that you hear on the radio all day. The mainstream's gonna be that A$AP -- we're gonna change the whole world with this shit.”

LongLiveA$AP, Rocky’s anticipated album, is due out in September, but no official release date has been announced. The A$AP Mob member says fans can expect an album from the crew soon “in two weeks”.

To describe Busta’s energetic and non-stop set as epic would be an understatement. In addition to our written and video recap of the day’s event, we’re proud to let you all see some some highlights from yesterday’s historic event in still form below

EXCLUSIVE: Waka Flocka Explains Brick Squad Monopoly Tribute Mixtape for Slim Dunkin Called “Block Illegal 2″

Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka have announced that the Brick Squad Monopoly (BSM) will be releasing a tribute mixtape in honor of fallen BSM member Slim Dunkin, who was gunned down in December of last year.

The project stems from the Block Illegal mixtape series that Slim Dunkin and BSM up-and-comer D Dash Bo developed, completing the final chapter in the short-lived series.

While many Hip-Hop fans are just getting to know D Dash Bo, fans of the BSM movement will remember that D Dash Bo was Slim Dunkin’s protege, representing the Dirt Gang crew and was featured on Waka’s album alongside Slim Dunkin.

“You know, the mixtape, it’s something that me and my brother had a dream about and we trying to put it all together for the team. We came from the heart with everything on this, turn up,” D Dash Bo explained to AllHipHip.com. “Well, to us as a team and a family; it means a lot to carry on what we started. It started with my bro, Slim [Dunkin], and we just carrying the torch in the best way we can. This tape gonna explain what happened from the hard times to now.”

Block Illegal 2 will be hosted by DJ Holiday, DJ Spinz & V103 DJ Kash, and features a collection of songs with other artists including, Waka Flocka, Gucci Mane, Trae Da Truth, Future, Roscoe Dash, French Montana, Stuey Rock, and more.

“It’s just a collective of some of the last music that Slim had, and it’s absolutely phenomenal man. D-Bo is the next in the up in the Dirt Gang crew, and him taking the flag and running with it, and Waka Flocka having his success, we thought it was the right time to do something epic to send my man out on the red carpet with the doves and everything, doing things the big boy way,” DJ Holiday explained to AllHipHop.com.

Brick Squad Monopoly affiliate and up-and-coming rapper, Slim Dunkin, was shot and killed by the currently incarcerated Young Vito late last year. While early details were sketchy, at this point Atlanta police now know that Slim Dunkin was recording in the the booth before an argument ensued, and Young Vito entered the booth and shot Slim Dunkin amidst a struggle.

In honor of Slim Dunkin, the BSM family has a host of videos planned for this project, and they intend to use this opportunity to brand D-Bo and his Dirt Gang crew.

“Sh*t, you know the videos I got planned; this sh*t gonna be epic. I’m really gonna sit back and help co-direct some videos, but they don’t really need help, because we got Major League PacMan behind him. Videos we gonna really brand D-Bo and this Dirt Gang crew music all the way to the T. We gonna really show y’all Clayton County, Georgia,” Waka Flocka told AllHipHop.com

“When people think about Brick Squad Monopoly, they don’t think about drugs – they think about a company, a label, an establishment, an enterprise, an empire that built a company brick by brick. That’s why we call it Brick Squad period. Like we gonna give these folk’s our all, like we all we got type sh*t, for real,” Waka Flocka added.

The mixtape holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the BSM team, and will feature several songs that pay tribute to their fallen brother.

“‘Number one, we got Me and Flock, we got ‘Feelin My Self’ with Trae the Truth, we got ‘Celebration’ with Gucci [Mane], we got Rock Star with Slim [Dunkin] and Roscoe Dash, we got a lot. To be honest, the whole tape gonna stand out, ’cause we did us. We ain’t try to be nobody else,” D-Bo said.

EXCLUSIVE: Method Man Talks “Crystal Meth,” “Blackout 3″, And Possible Wu-Tang And “How High 2″ Films

style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Method Man has been working on a number of projects over the last few years, including his fifth solo studio album, Crystal Meth, which is currently being recorded in conjunction with his and Redman’s third entry in their Blackout series. Method Man wants to put out as much quality music as possible. “Me and RZA are gonna work together on my next LP, Crystal Meth,” Method Man told AllHipHop.com. “I’m looking forward to getting back in the studio with the kid, ’cause we just came off a Wu tour, and the camaraderie was still there. So I know the chemistry is gonna be there when we go in the studio. “If there’s still fans out there listening, then I’m definitely coming with some sh*t for you,” Method Man promised of his forthcoming music. Despite what he feels was a slept-on album – in the form of 2009′s Blackout 2 and less than stellar feedback for his, Ghostface and Raekwon‘s collaborative album Wu-Massacre – Method Man doesn’t get hung up pleasing critics or “the mainstream.” Fans of his longtime collaborations with Redman won’t have to wait much longer for Blackout 3, which Method Man says is being recorded at the same time as his solo album and Redman’s Muddy Waters 2. The 20-year member of Wu-Tang Clan also pondered the possibility of filming How High 2 with Redman once a “good script” is written, whether he thinks the world will ever get a Wu-Tang biopic, and why he hasn’t been taking as many film roles in recent years. Check out the entire interview with Method Man below:

Rihanna, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Deadmau5 to Headline London Music Festival

This weekend's Barclaycard Wireless Festival in Hyde Park could create buzz not only with its performances, but also the troubles of its sponsor and the recent Drake-Chris Brown showdown. LONDON - Rihanna, Drake, Deadmau5, Nicki Minaj and Pitbull are among the headline acts set to perform at the 8th annual Barclaycard Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park that takes place Friday through Sunday. The Roots, Jessie J, Wiz Khalifa, Afrojack, Kaskade, Calvin Harris, Far East Movement and many more established and rising talents are also scheduled to entertain music fans on four stages at the open-air music gathering, organized by Live Nation. Viacom's MTV UK is the official TV partner for the festival, which organizers say is one of the biggest on the country's festival calendar with more than 160,000 attendees expected over the course of the weekend. MTV's coverage will air on July 28 and July 29 and include 10 live performances, a compilation show and a countdown of the festival's top 50 moments. The festival could create buzz beyond its performances given the recent showdown between Drake and Chris Brown, who isn't scheduled for the festival, about Rihanna and U.K. bank Barclays' interest rate manipulation scandal, which this week forced its CEO Bob Diamond to resign. The bank's Barclaycard unit has been the festival's title sponsor since 2009. The original sponsor was telecom giant O2. Festival performances will start around 2pm every day and go as late as 10:30pm. The main stage will on Friday feature The Roots at 7:10pm followed by headliner Deadmau5 who is scheduled to play from 8:25pm until 10:25pm. Saturday's main stage action will culminated with Nicki Minaj followed by Drake. And Jessie J followed by Rihanna will close out the festival on the main stage on Sunday. Single-day tickets for around 50 pounds ($62) were still available for all days as of late Friday morning London time. Combination tickets for all three days were also still available, but two-day tickets were sold out. Organizers have previously said that this year's eighth edition of the music festival is shaping up to be the biggest and best-selling edition so far.

Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and more), along with Blues legend Muddy Waters (“Mannish Boy”), Elmore James, and others. Filmgoers will not hear original songs, however, from Hendrix’s hugely popular but short-lived career. The guitarist who passed away at age 27 left a bevy of music, but his estate has refused to license his hits for the upcoming film or virtually any other requests in recent years. Experience Hendrix LLC, overseer of the Hendrix estate, spoke out last month regarding the movie. According to Hendrix’s sister Janie who also runs the company, Hendrix’s estate “has made it known many times in the past that no such film, were it to include original music or copyrights created by Jimi Hendrix, can be undertaken without its full participation.”
Despite the lack of original music, watchers are already lauding Andre 3000′s embrace of the legendary guitarist’s likeness and mannerisms. “Andre has been Jimi for four months now,” says Sean McKittrick, co-producer of the film that is currently shooting in Dublin, Ireland. “He speaks and walks like Jimi. He dropped a ton of weight. The transformation has been amazing.” Adds McKittrick, it was “easier…to recreate 1967 London.” The film is set to show at the Sundance Film Festival in early 2013, with the release to follow, along with a possible full soundtrack of Andre 3000 covers.
