DMX has been tapped to open up for Eminem during the Epicenter 2010 Festival in California. In addition to Eminem and DMX, artists like Big Boi, Blink-182, Kiss, Papa Roach, Rise Against, Bush and 30 Seconds to Mars will hit the stage. The general fans won't see DMX perform, unless they hold VIP tickets to the backstage area, where he will give the exclusive performance. The event, which takes place at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, will also feature the first Southern California show with a reunited House of Pain as well. The Epicenter 2010 Festival in California takes place this Saturday (September 11th).

The executive producer of the VMA's has shot down reports that rapper Kanye West and country singer Taylor Swift will "reunite" during the awards show this Sunday (September 12th). Kanye West and Taylor Swift are slated to both attend the awards show, which will feature a performance by Kanye West. According to the VMA's executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic, there is no chance for a duet between the pair. "I hope that we move on from it," Ignjatovic told Billboard. "It feels like it's time. It was a year ago." Other performers include Eminem, B.o.B., Swizz Beatz, Mary J. Blige, Drake, Linkin Park and Justin Bieber.

More details have emerged surrounding an early morning incident at the rapper's Las Vegas mansion on Thursday. According to Floyd's ex-girlfriend Josie Harris, the boxer allegedly pulled her by her hair, threw her on the ground and struck her in the head. According to TMZ.com, Harris then claimed Floyd began "dragging me on the floor and twisting my arm back ... in attempt to try and break it." Josie Harris claimed that the altercation started when Mayweather became upset over Harris' new boyfriend. At press time, police have not charged Floyd Mayweather Jr. with any crime. Josie Harris is now seeking a restraining order against Mayweather.

Breaking News: Petey Pablo Arrested For Gun At Airport

Rapper Petey Pablo was arrested today (Sept. 11) for attempting to get a concealed weapon though security at a North Carolina airport.

Police say that the artist was apprehended at Raleigh-Durham International Airport and booked on weapons charges.

TMZ reports that Pablo was on his way to the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles when the gun was seen in a carry on bag.

Airport security notified police of Pablo’s alleged violation.

Pablo, real name Moses Barrett III, was formally charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm.

He has since posted $50,000 and has been freed. He is slated to appear in Wake County Court on September 13.

Airport security is particularly tight on September 11, due to the nature of the tragic incident that fell the World Trade Center nine years ago.

In an appearance on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning, Willow discussed the life and times of a 9-year-old singer and the meaning behind her first song's title. "It means just be an individual," she chimed. "Like, you can't be afraid to be yourself, you have to be yourself, and you can't let anyone tell you that that's wrong."

Her new boss, Jay-Z, then called in and discussed her signing. "She walked in and the first thing she said was, 'I'm really nervous," he said. "And I thought, 'That's maturity' -- to explain exactly how she was feeling when she walked right into the room. I knew right then she was a star."

Jay has a close relationship with Willow's parents, with whom he shares production duties on the hugely successful Broadway musical 'Fela!' The Roc Nation honcho continued to draw a very serious comparison between the young singer and the late King of Pop, "I don't want to go so far, but I can imagine that's how Mike [Jackson] was as a young kid -- he knew exactly what he wanted."

Whether Willow's signing is purely an act of nepotism, or whether the young singer is a real talent, only time will tell.

Calling into New York radio station Hot 97 Thursday (September 9) night, 50 blamed celebrity groupie Kat Stacks for setting him up and said the 20 year-old rapper does not do cocaine.

"For Soulja Boy, this is a difficult time for him, he ain't never been under the circumstances where a girl's setting him up, he's working his way through it," 50 told radio personality Funkmaster Flex. "You know what's ill, I actually spoke with him afterward. I was saying, 'Don't even talk about it, you see what kind of person you're dealing with.'
