Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa Join 2011 Bamboozle Festival

Rappers Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa have been added to The Bamboozle Festival, a three-day musical festival taking place this Spring in 2011.

Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa have been added as main stage performers, along with Motley Crue, Taking Back Sunday, The Gaslight Anthem, Bruno Mars, LMFAO, Chiddy Bang and Dashboard Confessional.

Previously announced performers for the festival include Waka Flocka Flame, RX Bandits, New Found Glory, Boys Like Girls, A Day To Remember and others.

This year, The 2011 Bamboozle Festival will debut several new events, including a breakdancing battle, a DJ battle and "The Break Contest," which is an unsigned band competition.

Over 80,000 fans are expected to fill the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey for The Bamboozle Festival, which takes place April 29th, 30th and May 1st.

NELLY TO YOUNG MONEY?

Do you think Nelly would go to Lil Wayne and Young Money? Nelly is somewhat of a boss in the rap game and definitely a veteran. Is he a viable artist to move to YM? I don’t know, but that’s the rumor. I’m hearing that Nelly did a recent interview and suggested that he was going to be joining another musical entity. He didn’t say anything specific about Young Money or Lil Wayne, but it seemed from my sources that he was going somewhere definitive. There are only a couple of crew options at this point. Nelly didn’t sell much this year, but he’s sold a gazillion in the past. Joining Lil Wayne could be the opportunity to change his country grammar a bit.

Take it how you want to take it, but I heard Wayne is definitely signing a vet. Mystikal also came up in the convo. That would be interesting as well.
